Greetings magical beings,
well the title might be a bit misleading but let me explain... My initial plan was to first get Mr. Lorayne's The Magic Book and work on it for a while. And I will do that anyway. Although I haven't heard from him yet I'm looking forward to start. Now I simultaneously have the chance to get a 1st ed. copy of Vernons Magic Book. While I am aware, that it will contain fine, outstanding material I wanted to know, how it is written. Is it a "pure" description of routines and sleights or is there also a bit on the thinking and philosophy of the Professor? I'm asking, because the latter would give me more reason to buy both books right now. Any input is appreciated and thanks for your time, Markus |

Thank you misterbill,
I already checked the conjuring archive for the content. I also assumed, that a Vernon book won't be "explicit beginners" material. But you're right. I'd be biting myself if I don't get it now and have to search for it later. I'm going for it. |
