Right, this is only a quick look as I've not had this for very long...
what is it at its heart, its a "sort of" b*ll*t index built into an envelope...you can store playing cards, business cards, photos, that kind of thing inside what you get box to store it in, two lots of pocket-ind*x, and eight pre-made envelopes (they are the American style ones) and they look most like this - https://i.pinimg.com/originals/6e/d5/1a/......115c.jpg but without the stamp what it does each single envelope allows you to tip out any one of six things. Pro's and cons I quite like that they look like a real American air mail envelope, I have some ideas as to how to use that in a presentation...in fact its both a pro and a con, because you will have to at least address that issue a little in my opinion. doesn't have to be a back story obviously, but just to acknowledge it - especially if you are using different envelopes in the same set. Also, you will have to place a couple of fingers inside (steady!) to remove the object. I know in the blurb he just tips it out, and maybe that can be done consistently, but...meh...dunno. I think its fine to grab it. As the tipping action afterwards (for me anyway) is a nice convincer. Might also be tempted to blow into the envelope as I separate, as we sometimes do that naturally too. Pro's Inside blazer pocket sized They work as they say they do# They look realistic The handling is easy enough - I would say make sure the papery object you put inside is an appropriate size in relation to the object. Not sure a business card would look great, but a single sheet of A6 paper or similar, folded once would work well. Playing card, lenormand card, and maybe some tarot cards will fit. The shaking of the envelope convincer works well No adhesives on the lips Cons I'd be worried about creasing these fairly quickly over time, so transporting them and where you keep them during your performance needs to be thought about. Inside blazer pockets are fine, but don't forget you have them and sit down or you could get them sweaty and/or creased. The two index are made on glossy card. Once they wear out I suggest you make them out of acetate. Cheap, easy to do and will last a lot longer. That's it Just my first impressions, will report back if I remember in a couple of weeks, after I've had a proper play with it. Can't speak of the routines cos I'm not interested in them. 8/10 - probably a little pricey, don't know if they'd sell refills. Feels like it should be £20-25.
