I just ordered this today once again late to the party LOL.
But I really do like the way this looks and in my mind I had already said I will remove it at a good speed but not so fast. I think if you practice how you would normally take the pencil away and then add maybe a 10% speed to it it should work great but I will post more when I get this and practice it. This just looks like a lot of fun and easy to carry around with you. Good magic too all, Eric |

Well this little gem showed up today and first thing I noticed was the box that it came in was really something else almost needed directions just to get that open. But it was very nicely packaged. My gimmick came with a beautiful 1943 wheat back penny. I gave it a few trial runs using my hand just to start getting comfortable with the placement of the gimmick on the pencil. Tomorrow I will show this to my wife see what she thinks of it and post her reactions on here in the morning.
So far I am very impressed with this. I know it is fairly simple but it seems the gimmicks are very well made. I would love to hear if you guys are still using this and how your most recent reactions have been. And of course if you have any tips that you've learned while using this as always I would appreciate that as well. Good magic too all, Eric |

OK I had a chance to actually show this to my wife this evening and she thoroughly enjoyed it and I believe I may have gotten the best reaction from her in a long time!
While performing this I realized if you simply move the pencil from one hand to another you could actually hand the pencil to a spectator while they take the pencil you retain the gimmick in your hand. I hope that makes sense and they could look at the pencil all they want. You don't do this telling them to inspect the pencil or anything. You do this to free up your hand so you can reach for the water. I hope that makes sense. My wife really really enjoyed this and I will do a few more test drives with it and see how it goes. But my wife's reaction really motivates me to perform this. Good magic to all,. Eric |

What is the best surface to perform this on? Is it practical to carry around or do you need a very specific type of surface? Thanks.

I found as long as it is a smooth firm surface It will work fine. A little experimenting and you will have the right surface to work on.
