I was looking around for a bag that could carry my close-up props. I want to have access to more effects than I can keep realistically in my pockets, so this bag was the ticket. Its a make up bag, sure, but hey it works well.
I have enough room for a large folded handkerchief, 2 decks of cards, a wallet section which holds [ a 3-Fly half-dollar set, a bite out quarter, chapstick, a lighter, some paper], a bill tube with rubberbands and a dollar bill, and 3 TT's (one for silks, two D'lites). It fits snug so nothing will jostle around and get disorganized. It has a large internal pocket, a medium pocket, and two small pockets. $7 and some pennies on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C......TF8&th=1 Closed bag: https://imgur.com/PkecND8 Contents: https://imgur.com/Hu6G7R3 |

Looks great! Hope it works for you. I’m using a small tool bag from harbor freight. I like how compact this is. Easy to tote around.

I use various harbour freight bags as well. My big one has wheels.

I have a friend who uses a camera bag with adjustable dividers. Its padded, looks great and is
relatively inexpensive. This is something to look into as there are many options on the market. Mark

The World's Greatest "MagicShop", especially for prop cases, is your local THRIFT STORE! Those operated by church groups, are, generally, neat, clean, and relatively inexpensive. (Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, etc,) Last week I found a "brand new" case. that some electronic equipment had "come" in. It has a padded interior, and , apparently was never used. IIRC, I paid $3.00 for it! It's 12" x 18" x 6", and, perfect to carry spare props, and supplies, "on the road".
Over 50 years on the road, I've found dozens of camera spare parts" cases, like new, for a dollar or two! Check out yard sales! I remember buying a salesman's sample case, almost new, for less than $5.00. In a luggage shop, it would have cost, $50 to $60. I used it for several seasons, I carried the show, then, in the sakesmans's case, plus a hair dresser's case, which I paid less than $5.00 for! Note: I traveled by car, and, later motor home. If you're flying to dates, you would want "airline strength" cases!
