I believe the gimmicks are the same in essence , only from hearsay

This is hands down the best effect I have purchased this year. Takes a bit of trial and error to get used to preparing the gimmick, but after a few tries, you can make a gimmick in just a few minutes. This is well worth the $20 cost of the download. Instructions in the vid are excellent. I personally like the horizontal tear used in Face Off better than the vertical tear. I have also found that the cheap bicycle cards sold at Walmart work great for the more difficult part of the gaff preparation (as opposed to the thinner "Elite" version of the bikes).

I use elements of the face off tutorial with elements of the Siamese Waltz tutorial, this I find the perfect combo with the vertictal tear.
Both are excellent though. Olly |

Just got this. Great effect. Without having yet built them I'm really struggling to see why you would choose the original gimmick over the streamline? What benefits am I missing? Thanks.

They just don't look as smooth. Make both up and see what works better for you. If your streamline cards come out good enough then hey, that's great for you! |

Love this effect. Best purchase of the year. Will be in the set permanently. I got Eoin O’hare’s corner splitter, significantly lowered the prep time to make up the gimmicks.
