Hi all,
Obviously I can not give a review of my own product but I can give anyone who has Hell's Hustle a cool tip in using it. It works really well with the Cardiologist Deck. After you do the HH routine and produce all the sixes, then you can go into the every card has a soul mate thing. PM me if you have my Hell's Hustle and I'll send you my handling and patter. Best, Keith |

Pkg, I would n't bother. Kieth took nearly 4 months to supply creature and parasite. He took forever to answer emails and only sorted things out when paypal got involved. When I got both the items, the parasite tail bands pick up points were broken and creature looked sort of unfinished. It was as though he sent me some rubbish in retaliation for my constant emailing and involving paypal. After all the hassle I did not bother asking for a replacement. If you are after one of Keith's effects, then I suggest that you buy them from a magic dealer. At least that way, you will have better customer service.

Well, I bough one of these when if first came out, and if I remember rightly, it looked cool, was well made, and the effect and patter for the trick was rather cool, personally keith, I feel that you could find some cool writing and have that put on the cards, becasue when I wrote on the message from Satan, it looked rubbish. All in all, I give this a 6.5/10. I feel there were just some parts that could have been improved. I sold mine on now, so cant remember what exactly what they were, but I liked it. I only sold it on as I was low on money being a student. If someone offered me another, I might actually get one

As for Keith Arlen.....he went out of his way for me. I bought one of his products that I could not use because of my disability. So, I emailed him (I believe) well any way....he called me here in Muskegon, Michigan. Who am I....heavens, I'm one of the smallest fish in this big pond. Mr. Arlen & I talked about my short comings concerning the item I bought & figured out which one of his products that would work better for me. This man went out of his way for me and as for his products, I found them in the finest quality. A lot lot better than most. Mr. Arlen, even followed up on how I was doing with the exchanged item. He treated me as if he knew me and we had never met. Yes, I will stand up for Mr. Arlen, not because I have to but because in my heart he is an honorable man.

I had problems with an order I made as well and he only replied me when Paypal involved. If I remember well,i think that he had some personal problems or something but all these have nothing to do with his products and a review about Hell's Hustle.I used to have it,i was not really impressed and I found it a bit overpriced. After a couple of months I saw it advertised in many sites for one third of the original price,if that is telling you something.I used to have a couple of other of his products but I found them not practical or at least they were not for me.You can see great reviews about some of them if you make a search but if you do not buy them and try them you will never know if they are for you.Personally for me,most of them are not!

My response to a message, heh heh, 13 years old.
I just bought this effect from Penguin. The overall experience buying from them was perfect; fast shipping, tracking number, etc. As to the effect itself, well, be leery of paying full price for it. While the concept is very good the execution leaves something to be desired for the cost of the trick. First, you don't get a set of blue bicycle cards (ungaffed) which you will need. Second, when the trick arrives it will be 'stiff' and you may have to work it before it's suitable to demonstrate. Since I just go mine I don't know if 'working it' will help or not. Third, when you start the trick the gimmick has an interesting design to set it, but mine is so 'heavy' that it doesn't really work right. Fourth, the photos are only so so. Fifth, the bicycle card supplied is not signed as it needs to be for the trick, and the gimmick that attaches to it is done in such a way you just can't really display the face of the card. Again, this could probably be fixed. And of course you need to know multiple false shuffles and a cull to do the 'work'. If you view this as paying for an apparatus that DID take some effort to make, and you're willing to work with it, and you can come up with a convincing version of the supplied card, it's not bad. I would be happier if the card had at least been 'signed'. So there you have it. Probably not worth the $49 + shipping I paid, but on the other hand I've paid a lot more for a lot less. |
