Yeah, I was thinking for festivals, lightweight, portable, I'd be in a straight jacket and chains, but what's good for a frame and curtain, velour?

The weight may be too much but have you considered a pop-up-tent that we all see at any art fair? They all seem to be white and break down easy. Then you could pull the sides down and do the spirit cabanet.

Glenn Falkenstein and Frances Willard came to our magic club and did a shortened spirit cabinet routine with just the jacket change. All they needed was a lightweight curtain (bedsheet?) and a hula hoop.
No trees were killed in the making of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

The only problem with lightweight curtains is you have to be careful if the wind picks up.

Pvc pipe maybe? Like a puppet stage that breaks down...it was just a thought.
