Club Sandwhich. Very visual and good for close up. Easily reset

Try Cups & Balls. They're fairly simple and can be impressive.

The crazy mans handcuffs (Michael Ammar's), the no - gimmick scotch and soda (Peter Marucci) and "A Little Lighter" (also Peter's, from his column in the Linking Ring) are the top three on my list because they involve everyday objects, use no gimmicks and leave you "clean".

I truly agree with Peter Marucci!!
He e-mailed me his 'No-Gimmick' Scotch and Soda, and I was able to perform it for my 'inner circle' friends, just this weekend. Their comment? "Where did you get the gimmicked coins that you can show on both sides?" THANKS PETER!! The $100.00 bill switch is PURE GOLD!! Try Silver-Copper-Brass: It's a knock-out coin routine, and there is no re-set time (if your routine starts clean and ends clean). Crazy Man's Handcuffs is pretty strong too. Feather Thru Quarter (use feather instead of cigarette). To see this, is absolutely STUNNING!! - - Troy

For a bill trick you can't beat Treasury Transpo. It's a transposition of two signed bills. One bill is locked between two plexiglass sheets and the other bill is held in the hand. the spectator holds one end of the locked rubberbanded sheets and you cover all with a silk and three seconds later everythings still locked and banded but the two signed bills have changed places while the spectator still holding the end of the two sheets. yes you can exaimine everything after. I got it from Tannen's years ago.

Hi Stocktrader. Good question you posed and you've had some great advice but few suggestions on the best cut and restored effect.
I do a beautifully simple cut and restored string effect that I learned originally from Larry Anderson's 'Jawdroppers' Videos and it's also described in Mark Mason's Encyclopedia of Magic. Another effect that fits your spec. but hasn't been mentioned is Doctor Sack's Amazing Dice Trick. Small, pocketable props like elastic bands, pieces of string, dice, coins, cards ... what more do we need? Bill |

I would go with a set of sponge balls, 25 Tricks With Sponge Balls video, And the Off the Cuff video. Off the Cuff is a video that I highly recomend because it is an impromptu video that you can do anywhere anytime with anything. All the tricks reset perfectly and most of them kill with an encore.
Hope my words were of help! Lance R. Wilson
