Birthday Party Magician
Silly Billy- David Kaye
Pre ordered new Silly billy book
Live in your living room - Christopher T Magician (my favorite book so far)

Would like to know what books you guys have in your library, what books were a waste of time and what books are just "pure gold."

Thanks in advance

God Bless

Heqq! I didn't even mention the title of my book! It's "Dick Oslund --Road Scholar". Also available is a dvd with several of my school shows.

I worked mainly in the school assembly field for over 50 years. Audiences ranged from Kindergarten through Senior high school. Sometimes in rural midwestern towns, I had K thru 12 audiences..In larger towns, I would have primaries (K-2 or K-3) elementaries (K - 6 or K-8) middle or Jr Highs (5-8 or 6 -9) Senior Highs (9-12 pr 10-12, occasionally 9).

After I first auditioned for the assembly bureaus, I was never out of work. The bureau managers called me! I never kept a record, but, many many bookings were repeats. My old, and dear friend, J. B. Bobo, and I, compared notes on our last visit, and, we both estimated that we had done about 20,000 programs.

the book has been favorably reviewed by David Seebach, in the May 2016 MUM, AND, Payne in the in the July 2016 MUM. The Linking Ring has not yet printed a review. The book is a few over 400 pages.

Saludos Mr. Oslund,

I'm contemplating making the transition to only doing school shows. I will add your book to my list.

Yes! Tony, Paul Gallico's "The Man Who Was Magic" is one of my favorite "magic fiction" books. I wish that it had been made into a movie!

Si, amigo! I'm sure that you will find much that will help you. I held nothing back! It's the "real work"!

I'll PM you next week, after I return from Abbott's Get Together.

Funny you should say that Dick. Recently I contacted his estate with that in mind!

The rights were bought in the seventies but no movie was made. I am hoping the rights might be up for grabs again at this stage. I would love to write that script. My vision is to get a number of prominent magicians to play the magical roles.
