It's been a long time since I've shared much of anything on the Café, but I thought I'd film a quick Matrix-style routine that I sorted out for myself about 5 years ago, practiced hard at, then completely forgot about until very recently...

Hi Scott, so nice routine

Ooh, very nice. The lean looked a little awkward/obvious to me, especially given how much you use it, but otherwise fantastic. I was expecting the backfire, and still didn't see it happen! Bravo.

tonsofquestions, the "lean" being repeated is probably the worst thing about the structure of this routine. I have a variation on the second coin where I re-orient the coins to a different layout (not in a square) to facilitate the moves, but I felt that it took away from the congruity of the routine. Maybe I'll keep playing with that phase and see what else could work. I am dead set on finding a way to make it work with only four coins and a card!
