What are some wine themed magic tricks.
This summer I went for a few winery tours with friends.
This included wine tasting.
During the last wine tasting I levitated a wine glass using Exquisite (Ammar/Losander).
Everyone freaked out.

I want to prepare for next summers' winery visits with some seemingly impromptu tricks using wine, wine bottle, cork, wine glass, grapes, etc.
I already have;
Exquisite
Premium vanishing wine bottle
Abraviagra
Pass thru corks

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Remember, it has to appear to be impromptu, so tricks like multiplying bottles or topsy turvy would not be practical in this situation.
Thank you,
Ihor

Many effects based on stones, balls and other small objects can be performed with corks or grapes.
My eBook "Sleight and the Family Stone" has several dozen - all truly impromptu.

Just some off the cuff thoughts...

You could animate a cork under a wine class...

Peal a tear in a wine label and restore it.

If you can ring in a prepared bottle, you could do Roth's work on turing a bottle inside out.

Change a white wine into red wine.

Do the old impromptu matchstick penetration with corks.

I'm sure there are napkins available...give you several effects like paper balls over the head or a torn and restored.

Maybe you could do one of the no-gaff bill penetrations (like Sanky's version with a bil and post-it note) but do it with a corkscrew instead of pencil.

Get a cheap plastic cork from a cheap bottle of wine (they have ones that look a little like cork - same shape, beige plastic) and change a real cork into the fake looking one, or pretend you find it lying around and change it to a real cork.

If the winery has business cards, you have torn and restored or maybe use then in a one-ahead prediction of a wine fact or type of wine.

Weird idea...take a glass of wine from some who already has tasted it. Say you think it needs to stronger - have more kick. After a magical gesture, they taste it again and it's got a noticeable alcohol punch to it. Method? Maybe have a TT or small easily hidden contain with vodka in it. Dump it into the glass under misdirection....maybe switch a leaded glass for theirs.

Those are some good suggestions.
I suppose I can customize many routines with a change in patter to fit a wine theme.
Even cups and balls with grapes and wine corks.
Thanks for the ideas.

I have a wand with a tip to hold slush powder.
I have to try adding slush powder to wine and see what happens. Could be interesting

If you're going to bring props with you, you could try Splash bottle. You don't even have to walk around with a bottle the whole time; since you're at a winery you could as well just load it there.

I'm not going to bring props with me. I was just thinking out loud.
The only prop worth taking would be Exquisite for levitating a glass of wine. I could hide it in a jacket without much trouble.
If they would happen to have opaque glasses or cups around, I could do cups and balls with wine corks or grapes.
I wouldn't bring cups with me.
I don't have Splash Bottle but after reading the reviews on Penquin Magic, I wouldn't use it.
I may be prepared to do a lot of tricks but I would only do one if the situation arises.
I try to make it look as impromptu as possible.

It would be interesting to follow Exquisite with moving the glass with venom. One movement is covered, the other is not. Alan Shaxton has a great four ace routine done in a wine glass, not remembering the name of it, but was in his lecture notes in the early 90’s.
