So, I was thinking again the other day,
when the following idea occured:
with so much great advice being given here, with so many profound thoughts, with so many whimsical one-liners, with so many anecdotal quips, wouldn’t it be great if you, the staff, put all of your favorite quotes posted in a quote archive somewhere on the site?
The staff could have total control over what is placed here and it would be a ’veiwing only’ place for us, the customers.
For example, Peter Marucci, while commenting on the standard of the patter one recieves with store bought tricks, posted the following in the ’pitter patter’ section of food for thought:
"It’s been translated from the original Japanese into Finnish and then English by a Polish translator living in Botswana."
that’s got to deserve some credit.
Of course, not everthing would get in, only select few quotes, the ones that really impress you.
just a thought.
