I would like to perform an effect where a key seems to melt or react when water is poured on it. What kind of chemical should I use to soak the key?

Tape an Alka Seltzer to the back of the key.

I would need to know more about the routine to be able to suggest more than what was suggested already. You can get into some nasty stuff that will really eat the key but is not very safe or practical to carry around. Mark |
