I would like to express my greetings in one's birthday by means of magic. I need just one magic and this is not always for children. Could you give me any ideas like the name of tricks or just changing the finish of some routines you could get good response?

Without really knowing your level of experience and ambition here are a few ideas…
You might vanish a silk and make anyone of the pre-printed “Happy Birthday” silks reappear… …or… You might look into David Ginn’s “No Mess Cake Bake” routine and bake a magical birthday cake… …or… You might use Genii Cards (Mark Wilson’s adaptation of the “Out To Lunch” principle) to magically produce the Happy Birthday message in the course of a routine. |

One quick idea would be to go to
http://www.magicsmith.com and type the word "birthday" in their search field and this would bring up all of the tricks they have that are suitable. Might be a valuable resource for you. Blessings, |

Thanks a lot Drew.
I am interested by Cake Bake routine. Is it a kind of cake in a hat? I have never seen those props but, are those popular magic at a birthday party in USA? yken Thank you for a tip, David. I want to avoid card tricks because I have not seen playing cards around (is it strange?). However, there are still many magics in the online shop when I searched as the keyword is "birthday". I will try something of using bill. yken |

This routine is done from a pan not a hat. A cake is produced after a lot of by-play with the ingredients. I don’t know about it being popular all over the USA but in some of my birthday shows I use it as the finale; it’s that strong”
A description right from the manuscript: “With two children helping, I spend 5-10 minutes putting all the ingredients into the pan – milk, flower, coffee, sugar, chocolate, cheese, and more… we wave magic wands, and finally get the cake baked.” You might get more information from David Ginn’s website: http://www.ginnmagic.com |
