Does anybody know who the magician is at the start of the film Pretty Woman? He's doing a coin routine at a wedding if my memory serves me right.
I've a feeling it might be David Roth, but I'm not too sure.
Also, does anybody know the routine he is performing?
Bit of a strange question maybe, but I'm sure somebody can enlighten me.
Many thanks.

Leeo,
A quick search on, Hollywood.com indicates the magician was played by Jason Randal. He also played a magician in the 1988 film, "Tequilla Sunrise."
Although I've never really heard of him, further searching indicates he is a corporate magician that also puts on memory seminars.
Hope that helps.

Jason Randal also wrote the book "Professional Close Up Magic" if I remember correctly. It contained an absolutely superb presentation for Harris' "Reset" trick.
"Mentalism With Cards" will soon be out of print. "The Tree of Knowledge" is out now!

Just a minor correction to Paul's posting - Jason Randal's book was titled
"Magic for Professionals".
I haven't read the book, but from what I can recall, the book received favourable reviews back when it was released in the early 1980s (?).
"One arrow. One life."
