I just found a coin under watch routine in a DVD I have and I had a couple or questoins about it. First, do you use it? Does it get good reactions? Have you been caught loading the coin in their watch?

I don't but I know many magicians who do! I have seen audiences go wild over this routine... it's very powerful.
You can get some fantastic work on the subject by Johnny Ace Palmer. Contact Johnny through his website and request his lecture notes. They are written by David Groves and they are superb. Clear, concise and complete as they hit every subtly. His notes even tell you how you can practice the load before going out into the real world. http://www.johnnyacepalmer.com/
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

I always load coins under watches when it is possible (spec has to wear a watch first, and then it shouldn't be loose otherwise the coin always falls before the revelation!). It packs huge reactions, especially when the coin is revealed when you're away from them. Let them forget you touched them.
Once you're confident about this, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get caught. Apply strong misdirection touching the other hand or closing their first tightly with the LH while the RH is loading, and you leave them no chance. Play with it! I sometimes load 3 or 4 watches, vanish 3 or 4 coins and let the specs check under their watches. How could they know I loaded these coins 10 minutes earlier? Only problem with this: it happened that coins fell from their watches before my routine... That's why: chosse your specs! You can PM me if you need help. Phedon

Thanks guys! I'm going to try it on some laymen after I practice some more. Anybody else have any pieces of wisdom to impart on the subject?

It will work good with Ma*****c Silver Copper. Put the two coins in the spec's hand. Have him/her close his/her hand. When it is opened, one is missing, found under the watch.
