Freedman is great.

I would stay away from the James Coats stuff. No good in my opinion.

Okay, I have seen a lot of reviews that say Coats is good. This is the first time I have heard of this freedman guy. I did a search but find no demo's of freedmans stuff. I have one of coats dvds. I have to say some of it is bunk but some is good, in my opinion. So could someone post a link to a demo of freedman for comparison sake.

The Freedman dvd is good for learning the techniques for a large variety of steals. It is taught well and easy to navigate. There are some performance clips though this does not focus on routining in the way it does technique.

James Freedman teaches more than just Ricki Dunn returns, He goes over a lot of material and anyone serious about pickpocketing should have his dvd in their collection.

Mark Raffles goes over taking items as well, in fact Raffles doesn't really talk about doing any fake returns at all.

So check them out.

Which Freedman DVD would you recommend? There seem to be 2 out: "How to Pick a Pocket or Two" and "Stealing the Show."
