That's what I needed to know... I will get on that, and let you guys know soon when it's ready, and we can do a reissue.
I wasn't focusing as much on the CR as I was on the P**K. Since it was an informed CR, then I assumed that it would be much more simple and obvious than a true CR. However, maybe I am mistaken. The broad spectrum of choices and replies are so vast and unlimited. To try to give examples should only be used a something to help you apply logic, not to memorize. The people who get really good at the prompts will be the best performers, and the weaker guys who aren't as intuitive or 'with it' will be relying on audience selection and odds. Put it all together, and this effect is devastating! Another really cool tool for working on stuff like this is the electronic game 20Q. It is an incredible little electronic screen that asks you to think of any object, and then asks you several yes/no/sometimes questions, and it figures out what you're thinking about within 20 questions, usually within much less than that. It uses a logic chip and some research that was done online with a program that gathered the responses when it missed initially. Between the two, this thing became a real monster. It's literally spooky how this thing has nailed my friends on 'Eiffel Tower' and other really specific items. I am working on the manuscript as you read this. I am also hoping that some of you will post your 'war stories' on this forum... stuff like "The lady wrote the word SHOE, and the opposite was HAND" When the performer finally realized it, it was not a shoe that you wear or walk in. It was a shoe that a blackjack dealer in a casino deals the cards out of, and the alternative would be to deal out of your hand, as if you were playing a game of cards at home. There are a many more situations like that, specifically with gambling. Just check out the manuscript after I redo the info. JF |

The new file for SBO is up, with clearer illustrations, two scripts of examples of the ICR used with this effect, and James Anthony's handling of the bathing suit version.
Just type into your url http://www.jimmyfingers.com/ And after .com/ type the same name of the zip file that you already have, and you will get the zip file downloaded. In other words, if your previous zip file was SBO123.zip, then you would type in http://www.jimmyfingers.com/SBO123.zip If this doesn't work, just email me, and I'll reply to you with an attachment. Thanks, Jimmy |

It's great and well worth the money! The size of the billet is very easy to work with and has thinking of all kinds of possibilities.

I, too, just got a chance to read the update. I think Jimmy has knocked himself out in terms of the amount of clarification and detailed instruction that can be given to a piece like this. For, $6.50, the only thing Jimmy hasn't done is agreed to perform SBO, in my stead, the next time I do a show. Jimmy...you deserve a lot of credit.

I've mentioned a number of times here on the Café that I don't do much mentalism but after reading some of these reviews I picked this up just because I was curious.
I really like this and as others have said it's causing my wheels to turn. I may not perform much mentalism but that doesn't mean I wouldn't use some of their methods. I can see a lot of uses for this one and it's very clean. I'm going to practice a little and give it a try tomorrow to see how it goes. Thanks Jimmy. Ron Jaxon |

I believe that I was one of the first to witness this Finger Miracle.
He was thinking about something that I could do with one hand. I did not give him $6.50, as I am very poor.(I have fed the boy and that is WHY I am poor.) In my opinion, Jimmy is an untapped genius, and I am proud to call him friend. If you don't have this, you are missing out on a bit of magic/mentalism that will spark other ideas for years to come. Jimmy, if you are out there reading this, I love you, Bro. Peace, Parson

This is a great giveaway, very well thought through and well covered.
However, Ive got to say Im disappointed -not for the paltry price paid, but that I cannot use this from the absolute off, based on the assumed ‘requirement’ for it. I know I’ll be in the minority of this though, somewhere between the 5% to 30% approx. of us that will be. Its going to be a clear winner, not to mention the clear bargain, for the 70%+ rest though. Good thinking, re. above post by James, on this. Best, Nick. |

Hi everyone,
I've email Nick with a workaround for those who are 'attire' deficient for this effect, or for those who don't wear jewelry. The workaround is weaker in one respect, lacking the organic 'holdout' hiding that the impromptu method offers. The workaround can be done with one of several gimmicks, but it relies on some rehearsal and practice of the choreography that seems to be showing everything harmless, although it delivers the p**k to your doorstep. For those who have purchased the manuscript, and would like access to this, please email me from the account that you used to paypal me, and I will send you the workaround. Thanks again, and good luck, Jimmy |

Instructions for obtaining the workaround.
The new file for the SBO workaround is up. Just type into your url http://www.jimmyfingers.com/ And after .com/ type the same name of the zip file that you already have, but don't hit enter yet. Now add the letters "WA" to the file name, just before the ".zip" and enter it. In other words, if your previous, purchased zip file was SBO123.zip, then you would type in http://www.jimmyfingers.com/SBO123WA.zip If this doesn't work, or if it's unclear just email me at the address that you paypalled me, and I'll reply to you with an attachment. Thanks, Jimmy |

Now, I have a video of the timing and positioning of the p**k. This is actually as it is performed, but without the speaking or talking. No editing or effects, just as it is. The p**k is executed while the eyes appear closed, face forward, before turning around to display the folded square between both hands.

Just got done reading this effect for the 2nd time. First time was a little over 3 weeks ago and I was not able to post any comments about this effect at that time. In catching up on my "magic time", I noticed that I had not yet posted my intended comments.
Suffice it to say that this is waaay too good for mortal man. A very logical and well thought out effect. Every move is well motivated. I absolutely love the boldness of the methodology. Properly performed, the effect will grab the audience by the throat and not let go. Put yourself in the mindset of your audience (that real mindreading is being done) and it'll help you get over your possible initial hesitancy that you could actually pull this off. Actually, the hardest thing will be for you to not giggle as you perform this bold move right under the noses of the audience. (Hint: Keep telling yourself that you are really doing mindreading. That should help.) I love effects that are this bold. Jimmy has a real winner here. He is owed a lot of thanks and gratitude for releasing such a strong effect to the general magic community. Mike P.S. Loved the .wmv file. A good supplement to an already very clearly described text.

What is going on? When I click on the http://www.jimmyfingers.com link, I get a site that says "This is the future home of jimmyfingers.com." It's not a working website.

Hi,
What about doing SBO without the proper clothing for the hiding and covering of the information? On Youtube.com, I am posting a video to show the moves and times when the square is in position ('Placed' in red), and 2 instances during the blocking when it is being revealed to the performer ('Peeked' in green). If you own the manuscript, find the word on page 3 where the words describing "a thin, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ " Do a search on YouTube.com for the word that will fill in those blanks in the phrase above, and you will find the video. The video's description will be next to it, and the Vidcap picture should be of my back to the camera, with a red word written in the upper left hand corner of the vidcap. You may also email me with your purchase email address, and I may be able to look it up for you, and send the link word for this. Thanks, and I hope that this helps some of you with the blocking and concept. Jimmy Fingers |

I just have to say that this manuscript was way too cheap from the beginning. Way too cheap. With the new handling it got even better. For the same low price.
I've used the new handling a month now and this is really killer stuff. |

Do not dismiss this as just another tired variation of a peek. This is a true innovation, and it took me many months to truly understand and realize how innovative his peek is. It will be evident to seasoned mindreaders when you watch the video on his site. It is so clean it would fool Jesus Christ, Buddha, and Allah.
http://www.standingbetweenobjects.com seriously an amazing technique. I hate wearing watches, but I'm doing this effect, it is strong and the motivation for all the choreography is undeniable and natural. After purchasing the manuscript, read through it very carefully and try it and think about everything he writes and read between the lines a bit. My highest recommendation for innovation. Sure, you could use other methods, but this one is truly diabolical and will fool your smart alecky mentalist and magician colleagues. Also, no pesky center tear moves. everything is very clean. Just thinking about it, because I needed to add something to my mentalism show, and this is fantastic and perfect for all my smart alecky know it all audiences in NYC and I only yesterday realized how innovative and genius this is. |
