Recently I was offered, free of charge, an original Dai Vernon business card.

I want to frame it with an autographed picture of Vernon. Anywhere I can get one.

I heard H&R has them but I can't access their Find function

Check e-bay. I have seen them on there at least 3 times. I even had a bid on one for
awhile.

Check abe.com - the independent booksellers' site. Aladdin Books had a nice Vernon 8x10 for sale.

do you have any idea what Vernons business card might be worth?

I have a program (5 pages) dated 1974, from a show that honored Dai Vernon. On the back of the program is a printed caricature of Vernon and it was personally inscribed to me by him. He did the rings that night and was at the top of his form.
Interestingly, fourth on the bill was David Copperfield who had, up to that time, been Davino.
Just curious if Martinka could give me an estimated value. Thanks and as always,

Hi John,

Sounds like a neat piece with both a Vernon and Copperfield connection. I would estimate it's value to be in the $200 - $300 range.

Since you were there and it is inscribed to you, I'd bet that it is something you would want to hang on to.

Best Regards,

Ted

I have a playing card (the Joker) signed by Dai Vernon, which I framed with a signed photo of him that I obtained from H&R.
