Just wondering what effects you carry around with you everywhere on a daily basis.
I like to carry just a couple of items that "pack small, deliver BIG". Lately, I've been having a great time with Viking's "Transmental". I used this a lot while on vacation in southern Spain, using it as a sort of "experiment", and I must admit I was quite surprised at the great reactions that it got. On a side note for those who don't know, I must say that Viking makes absolutely top-notch brass effects. Dave |

I almost never carry anything. But if I feel I maybe going to perform I carry six silver dollars (Slydini coin work), Edward Victor Bat Trick and a deck of cards. Sometimes I add Mini Cups and Balls (all fits in pockets). I often do things with items on the table, like a Benson bowl type routine with whatever is there.

Pack of cards and a couple rubber bands. If I may hand out business cards, I'll carry a stack of cards rigged for Out to Lunch and a sharpie.

I rarely carry anthing at all.
One effect that people seem to like is finding a $20 bill inside a beer coaster. Learned it from Greg Wilson's video and people remember it for a long time. Lots of fun.

I always carry Stargazer with me as well!
When you do the last move and the Rubber band pops into the star shape, it is a real "N.F.W." Moment for the spectator!!! =Frank=
The Early Bird may get the Worm, but it's the SECOND Mouse that gets the CHEESE!!!

I always carry a TT with a small silk, deck of cards rigged up for "Onesome" from the Feb 2006 issue of Magic Magazine, a card in pen, a trick hinged spoon and a couple real ones for spoon bending routines, sponge balls, and linking ropes. I also wear cargo shorts a lot since this is a lot of stuff to carry around.

1) Rubber bands
2) Deck of cards 3) Coins (and a ribbon) for various coin effects (we have coins with a hole in them in Denmark which allows for Troy Hoosers' Charming Chinese Challenge effect). The ribbon also allows me to do ring and string routine's 4) Color monte (but I will variate with "Entourage" for a while) 5) tt and a small envelope, then I can do tt effects and "bill to anywhere" 6) Oh did I mention that my regular wallet allows for a card to wallet effect That can all be in one pocket |

Like Pete Biro and Frank I almost never carry anything.
I usually get by with things I always carry or can borrow. I regularly have a pen, bills, pocket change, a Swiss Army Knife, keys and a handkerchief. Oh! I do have $2 Window in my wallet. If a situation where I may want to perform comes up I'll load up on a few things. It really all depends on where I'm going and what I can bring that will appear impromptu. If I can borrow a finger ring, a deck of cards and other things then all the better. |
