The January Issue of Genii has a good review on it. I suggest checking out that issue.
Check out my new effect "As Good As It Gets" a gimmickles pencil or pen through bill effect. It closely mimmicks the slow motion phase of "Misled." About "As Good AS It Gets" for no gimmicks and everything being borrowed.

I just saw volume 2 of Secret Files and I liked it enough to buy the set. Sankey is not for everyone, but I really like his stuff a lot! I'd say get them...just my 2-cents.

See the thing is... I LOVED his very best series by L and L and I've heard this set is even better... what did you think william? Ya that Genii issue raved like mad about it.

Ben,
I haven't seen his very best series but I really like Secret Files. Call me nuts but the way is was filmed (similar to Short and Sweet) is really off the wall! It looks like he is in a basement and his props include a cardboard spectator hand and a few milk crates! Gritty to say the least. At one point Jay's cell phone goes off and he even thought about getting it!!!
I like the guy, like his magic, and like this DVD set!!!

I also recommend The new Sankey DVD's. I feel that the magic is very strong and both of the DVD's offer great effects. The video is well made for being home-made, but the lighting is bad at times due to card glare. I think glare is controlled a little better on the second DVD. This being said, in no way should you shy away from purchasing these DVD's because of the lighting.
Jay says on the first DVD that these effects are basically both his favorite magic and his strongest magic that he has held back over the years, and I believe him. The proof is right there in the old DVD player! I find the video to be as good as any I own.
I was truly entertained by Jay's magic! This is a good thing as I have other video's where the magic itself is not so fun to watch. I have found myself to be very eager to actually watch these DVD's.
I will be using many of these effects. Some are truly fantastic and will play well to any audience. Many tricks are good for bar work and strolling. This is all first class, A+ stuff for the most part.
Jay is not afraid of being strange, and I for one can appreciate his style. He is expressive to say the least. If I get the time this week, I’ll post a full review, with some description’s, and a list of the sleights taught (very cool stuff).
Oh yea the milk crates and cardboard table are a riot, but it shows that the tricks can be done anywhere for the most part.
