Hello, I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but please move it to an appropriate place if needed.
Anyhow, I'm looking for a name of a magician I haven't been able to find. He was at the 2004 SAM convention in Boston, MA. Anyone who attended will probably remember him as the guy who did the amazing act with a TV set on stage, interacting magically with a video of himself on the TV. He would take things from himself in and out of the TV, lots of cool stuff. He even ended with rewinding himself on stage. He was really great and I would just like to know his name. -Steve! |

The current (January 2007) Issue of Genii has a complete write up on the act...unfortunately I do not have it with me and the Genii web site still has December issue posted.

It is Tony. I have worked backstage with him at the Battle of Magicians and Abbott's. I can tell you it is not a simple act to set or do. There is more planning in that act than building the Golden Gate Bridge!

Haha... That's why it plays so well! Planning is a key factor missing in too many acts these days (sadly, I saw several of these at FISM, but rest-assured for each of these, there was one that excelled!) Anyhow, I love this act. It's original and entertaining on many levels.

I saw this act at a previous Magifest as well. Totally blew me away and it received a standing ovation which Chapek richly deserved. Can't wait to see it at this year's Magifest as well.
Magic! The quicker picker-upper!
