I'm going to be in Orlando this coming week and have seen several topics about magic performed at Wonderworks. I'm just curious on what shows I should see (be in Orlando all week) and the cost, etc of these shows. And maybe there are other shows I should check out as well?
Thanks, --------- Dean

I have seen the Outta Control show at Wonderworks and must say it is the best time I have ever had. Great tasting pizza too.
I have seen the Pirates dinner theatre. Very fun evening. Great set. Descent food. There is a preshow with some magic in it. After the main show there is a dance party also which is a lot of fun. |

I live in O'do... let me know if you're looking for something specific. Sleuth's is a fun Murder Dinner theatre.
I have heard great things about the outta control magic show... Not big and fancy... good show, and inside Wonder Works if you are a kid at heart a good place to be.
Leaping Lizards!!! Who knew it was possible.

I also enjoyed the Outta Control Magic Show when I saw it in 05. The Chamber of Magic show was pretty disappointing though.

I prefer the pirate show at the treasure island ;-) The dance party afterwards was alright, it gave me a chance to do some walk-around. Even the employees enjoyed it. The best thing about the whole night though...the food. AMAZING food... ~Jonathan

I'll have to admit the show wasn't amazing. But it is the type of show that is only as good as what you put into it. If you get into cheering your pirate on then it is fun. Also, if I remember correctly, for those who can and like, it's unlimited beer.
Still the acrobatic skill of the pirates was impressive as I wasn't expecting it. It is definately a family show. And yes the food (especially the finger foods) was good. The pizza at the Outta Control show is pretty good. It is basic pizza with few toppings but you can taste the fresh made taste of it. Jonathan, I am a little surprised that you performed there at the dance party. |

You gotta love the fact that your show is great enough that word of mouth advertising spreads like wildfire. You should be very proud Tony.

Hi All,
I just got back from Orlando and wanted to let everyone know that I and the rest of my party had a great time at the Outta Control Magic Show. I actually got to come on stage for one of the routines. I wanted to thank Tony Brent and Fred and Adina Moore for putting on a great show. My son and his buddy spent the entire weekend singing "What's in the Box?" and "Supa stahhhh." OK, so maybe I said it a few times as well. <g> So if Tony or Fred or Adina see this, thanks for a great time! ----- Dean (The doctor with the scissors)

Me and my son still yell "LIAR" at times. Back from the old days. Miss you Tony. Call me sometime or at least say we'll have lunch.

Thanks to everybody for the kind words.
I was a little intimidated about joining a show that was already fantastic! (that would be Tony Brent and Danny Devany) Please tell your friends, not too many people in the Magic community know about the show. And it's always nice to meet your peers. |

Is Danny Devany not part of the show anymore or did you guys just add more performers? The Outta Control Magic Show was good when I saw it a few years ago. "Prince of Lies!" Some really fun routines.
If you're going to be in Disney, they have magicians on the 'Boardwalk' and in Downtown Disney sometimes. |

Danny is now starring in the new Hoot 'N Holler Dinner Show at the Wonder Works in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.
Saw his show last November and he still rocks! And, if you have not seen Tony and Fred & Adina at the WW in Orlando, you need to! It's an awesome show that should be a mandatory lesson to all magicians who endeavor to perform the art of comedy magic! Their show looks completely out of control (hence the name) but the biggest secret that I will reveal here is that it's any thing but out of control. Both Tony and Danny spend hours agonizing over the smallest bit - tinkering with lines to make them work just right, and fine tuning every routine in their show to create maximum audience enjoyment!
