Jeff,
Was just curious to know how your egg bag routine came about. Everyone here at Denny & Lees; says that Denny was your 'inspiration.' Is there any truth to that? :0)
Denny left for his shop in Vegas yesterday---> perhaps he'll run into you out there!!
take care,
Matt

Hey Jeff,
We met a couple of years ago in Vegas you won't remember me but I was with
Gil Martinez at the Alladin.
Anyways back to the egg bag, I was told that you now produce your own egg bag, is this true and if so when will it be available?
Darren....
PS Great show, I still have you on the Comedy Magic Hour, the show that was put out on British tv, you were with Dave Williamson and Rudy Coby.

Hey Pete, take a Valium and get some sleep!
. .. sorry, what was the question?. . . . oh yes . .
Yes, Denny was my inpiration for the Egg Bag. I saw him perform it in the early eighties at a college somewhere. He is a FANTASTIC performer and EVERYONE should listen to every word that comes out of the man's mouth. He performed the Egg Bag with two people on stage with him. It was a masterpiece. It took me two or three years of playing with it to find the right way to perform it. Then another five years of doing it. .. . developing it into what it is today.
To be honest, I think it's a stupid trick. Hey, you put an egg in a bag and it disappears. . . . . .so what? But you see, that's why it's a classic. If you notice, classics of magic are all made up of effects that are VERY simple effects to follow. Cups and Balls, Linking Rings, etc.. They allow the perform to put 100% into the presentation and can be totally customed to the magician. The performer is allowed to get whatever he wants out of the trick since the blueprint in wide open for construction.
I mean come on!. . . . if a magician really wanted to make an egg vanish (and why would a REAL magician do that anyway?), wouldn't he just do a French Drop and be done with it?

You're too smart for your own good.
If you were dumber the translation would have been...
un oeuf is enough
then it would have been funny
