Dear Jeff,

I have seen your video and I have seen you perform as an emcee in Las Vegas, you are one of my favourite performers. Thanks for sharing at the Café.

From what I have seen of your performances it seems that a lot of your material packs flat and plays big! I really like this style of performance and as I am a solo talking performer it is a priority for myself that my material packs flat. However, when I get inquiries for corporate parties of audiences over 100-150 I get the feeling that the client wants a much larger show. Personally, I think if you have good lighting and music and have lots of fun interaction with the audience it is not necessary to have a big show. Do you do anything different when working for large audiences? What do you do when the client wants a BIG show?

Thank you

I market myself over the magic. . . when a client hires me, they rarely talk about the effects I will do. They want to book me. . .

I've purposely left all magic props out of my brochures, photos, etc. to emphasize the personality. When a client is looking for a comedian. . . . the agents usually call me first. Then it's usually an afterthought for the magic. . . . "oh yeah, he does magic too" . . . but It's never my main marketing position.

For larger audiences, I do offer a couple of illusions for clients to choose from. I do, however, charge extra for these.
