In "Strong Magic", you mention the strength of "magician goes wrong" effects. However, you give very few examples. Could you name some of you favorites (both as a performer and as a spectator)?

Bye for now

Harold:

The ones I use are:
1) Jacks Or Better from Darwin Ortiz at the Card Table
2) The Showdown from Cardshark
3) Beat The Dealer from Cardshark
4) Déjà vu Poker from Scams & Fantasies
5) No Way Out from Scams & Fantasies
6) the last phase of Liar’s Poker from Scams & Fantasies (This, in turn, is an adaptation of the Daley/McGuire Poker Face effect.)
7) the bent corner phase in Three-Card Monte
8) Marlo’s The Cardician Makes Good (which turns the magician-in-trouble concept into a running gag).
9) Lorayne’s The Card Shark & The Four Gamblers (which uses the countdown ending from Vernon’s Cutting the Aces).

Sincerely,
Darwin Ortiz
