My Dancing Cane's thread re-roll into the tube . How am I going to take the thread out ? Please help me !

Is it hollow?
Does it unscrew in Half?

Take the lid off an drop the weight out replace the thread.

I am using Dancing Cane by Precision Magic ! How am I going to replace the thread ? I don't know how to explain . The weight fits the cane accurately ! and the thread is tied onto the weight , how am I going to make the thread go thru the hole on the middle there ? hmm ..
