I have a gig coming up and the theme is 1930's dustbowl era and specifically,
themed around HBO's Carnivale series. Anybody have a good source of period clothing for this era? I'm doing strolling magic & mentalism, any suggestions on props or routines? Thanks, Woodfield |

If I remember correctly, Carnivale was set during the Dust Bowl, which would be mid to late 1930's.

Carnival themes are nice but doesn't give you time to really bond with your audience...

I haven't seen it all the way through but more than one friend who's seen it say's, "It' great you'll love it. But they cancelled it so it never ends. You'll be so frustrated because it just stops."
