Dear mr Kam,
in your intro we can read:
Quote:
| Curtis is a sleight-of-hand expert who designs and builds illusions, chases ghosts, pitches products, writes books, choreographs hand movements for television, juggles, reviews security procedures, trains magicians and reads minds. By day he’s a trial attorney. |
|
You're obviously a man of many talents and much creativity, but I interpret the above as that your main job and main income is from being an attorney. Why is this so?
Sincerely,
Matias

Main income, yes, main job, I'm not so sure.
I was a full-time pro for about ten years, and made a decent living, for a single guy. However, the cost of raising a family here in Hawaii makes the prospect of a steady income very attractive. That, and a bunch of other factors (too much travel in the magic biz, tourism slump and terrorist various wars on various things, etc.) led to my return to law about 2.5 years ago.
I'm still doing a weekly stage show and at least one night a week close up, but I'm not hustling the individual gigs anymore. That gives me some time with my family.
That, and the fact that since the inception of the Magic Café, I never leave the house anymore.
Is THAT a PALMS OF STEEL 5 Banner I see? YARRRRGH! Please visit The Magic Bakery
