Hi all
Am interested in this but am a bit concerned about the difficulty level of the effects. don't get me wrong I will try anything, but being a hobbyist I just don't have the time for mammoth practice sessions, so my question - Is this a book of knuckle busting effects or a mix of easy, intermediate, hard? Thanks in advance Matt |

Hi Matt,
Here's a quote from Peter Duffie's recent rave review in MAGIC Magazine: "This is not a book of knucklebusters. The material is not difficult." Hope that helps. --Andi

It is a book that will grow with you...easy stuff to diffcult (mostly long sequences to remember rather than "hard core" moves...although there are some of those also!) If you're dissatisfied...let me know...I'll buy it from you...I want a "back-up" for the one I have! BTW- any one who has the "Limited Edition" and wants to sell it...PM me! Michael |

You can't go wrong with Jack's book. I just reread it a few weeks ago and found some gems that I had passed by the first time. Definitely check out "Hof-City" for a great version of the classic Hofsinzer Four Ace plot. I recently posted a video of one of my favorite Jack Parker effects at http://www.CalebWiles.blogspot.com. Unfortunately, the routine is not taught in 52 Memories.

Hof-City is my favourite version of the Hofzinser Aces problem, and one of my favourites in 52 Memories. The book is really inspiring.

How many of the effects in this book are suitable for strolling work? In other words, are there a lot of "workers" in this book?
Workers is of course always subjective, but hopefully you get the idea |

It shocked me while I was reading the introduction at 2am in the morning.

I have a lot of respect for Jack Parker - RIP. His book contains amazingly original tricks and sleights. Top quality material.

Anyone hear of any chance of this getting reprinted? I didn't learn about the book until it was already OOP.

Not sure about a reprint but I believe Vanishing Inc had planned to release some more unpublished material from Jack this year.
