Hey WH, I got a couple questions...

1: Do you only perform original effects? If not what are your favorites that you use?

2: What kind of magic do you like to perform most? Cards, coins ect...

3: What kind of magic do you like to watch most?

3: What would you say is your most deceptive effect?

4: Would you rather perform an effect with a slight, or a gimmick? if both looked equally good, and both were not impromtu.

O and the last most random question is.....Do you play video games?

Thanks

Greetings!

1) Most of what I perform is original yes - however there is an incredible amount of good magic out there & I will often perform my favorites from current / past performers.

2) The majority of what I perform could be labeled bizarre magic. I very much enjoy effects that will make my audience squirm or gasp...

3) Sleight of hand & everything Penn & Teller do - they have the best show in Vegas... by far.

4) That's a very tough question. I don't think I can answer that - I think much of what I do is equally deceptive to the audience - meaning that they generally believe what I want them to believe.

5) Ultimatley I believe that it does not matter to the end user (your audience). If the effect is EXACTLY the same but one uses a gimmick - I don't think a magician can be blamed for using the gimmick. I PERSONALLY have a purist's heart (due in large part to my good friend Joel Paschall). There is an artistic beauty & purity in accomplishing the effect, whatever that effect may be, without the use of a gimmick that does the work for you.

6) No - not really. My brother is a gamer, but I usually get bored after 5minutes or so. There is one exception however... Mario 3 for the regular NES... Best. Game. Ever... in the history of ever!
