From Richard Kaufman...
"I forgot to mention this in Genii Speaks in the June issue (which will go in the mail tomorrow), but the July issue of Genii will be purposefully delayed due to the fact that it contains the third part of David Regal's article on Celebracadbra, and we can't have anyone receiving it before July 22 when the last two episodes air."

Hmmm... yes. But the quote is directly from Kaufman (cut and pasted). Even so, I received the July issue last week.

Kaufman also updated his original post:
The airdate originally scheduled for the show was changed, so there will be NO delay in shipping of the July issue. It will be shipped the same day as usual.

I have the July issue. I believe it arrived in the post a few days ago.
C. Thomas Howell is on the cover performing the Straight-Jacket Escape.

I hope you folks enjoyed David Regal's coverage of Celebracadabra--it's unique in the history of our field to have such extensive behind the scenes coverage of a TV series being printed while the show is being transmitted.

Mr. Kaufman- I watched and enjoyed the series, and greatly appreciated Mr. Regal's series coverage. It really filled in a lot of gaps, and provided those of us who watched the series with much greater insight into how such a show is made, the personalities and the reality behind the "reality". The description of the difficulties in selecting the snake effect for Hal ("dropping the card") very much added to my experience of the series. I am a relatively recent subscriber, but even within that short time, I think the magazine has become better and better.
