Hey Nate.
I think there's no question that you are one of the foremost creative magic thinkers of our time. I absolutely love your inventions as witnessed in your "Outside the Box" DVD.
Of course, along with all those gems, there must be some projects that made you give up, ideas that are too impossible to come true.
(A few years ago I wanted to create a routine that involves a spectator sandwiching her folded-sign card between her palms, and only to find it vanished from between her palms at the end, all without the magician touching her hands at all times... but I haven't yet came up with a solution for such "impossible idea" yet... what a shame)
Nate, if you don't mind me asking, Have you ever had an idea for new tricks, yet at the end, you failed to come up with a solution and eventually abandoning the idea all together?
If so, do you mind telling us what were they like?

Wow great question Nash....
I have really never abandoned an idea totally, because where there's a will there's a way. At least that's what I tell myself.
I have page after page of ideas in my notebooks and audio tapes that haven't been solved, or refined.
Sometimes it helps to bring in another mind, or just walk away from it and come back to it in a month or so.
Best,
Nathan
