I came across this site by accident today:

http://www.vintage-magic-tricks.com/index.htm

The site is rather awkward to browse, and index on the home page is incomplete, but the entire catalog is there.

My favorite effect title: "The Girl with Radio Eyes" with "The Chicago Fire Bowl" running a close second.

cheers,

Lin

I have never seen as many magic catalogs for sale as the Heaney catalog. Was there a run of 1,000,000 or something ?

No, I'm afraid not--though I did have a case of the "wannits" last night as I was looking through the online catalog. I love late 19th/early 20th century magic as well as antiques and ephemera of all types, so it's probably only a mater of time before I fall to the siren song of magic collectibles... uh-oh... earplugs! earplugs!

A great guy with a great reputation. You may not always agree with Mario but he is always fair and honest.

Y'know.....those kinds of sites really chap my knickers. That site is nothing but a stupid phishing site to bump people into EBay.......that pronounced EBay widget on each page?! How obvious can you get? I'll bet this guy isn't even a serious collector. Sheesh!!!!
His face isn't really this long in-person!
