Which of these tricks would be a better money changing effect? Slow Burn is the cheapest and Hundy 500 is the most expensive. Are they angle proof? Thanks.

Hundy 500 is better for real world use and is angle proof. Slow Burn is really angly and the handling sucks in my honest opinion. Visibill you cannot compare to the others because it is a bill switch technique. Visibill is very good though.

Nothing beats the reactions from Hundy 500. I also like the fact that the bills can be handled by the spectators, if you so choose.

You may not have had trouble with it, but the angles are not good at all. This wouldn't work great if you were doing table-hopping unless you wanted to do the effect right up against your body and get all cozy. Hundy 500 is just plain better.

I know both Slow burn and Hundy. I have no angle problems at all when doing Slow Burn at tables I also don't have to have the bill all up close on my body... you also can
"hand out the bills if you choose so" with Slow Burn.

Maybe you are having trouble with Slow burn and can't get the "angles" right..?

I don't understand how you can just say Hundy is just plain better because of it being "angle proof".

They are basically the same effect just with different handlings (different change).

Some people like apples some like oranges.
Are apples "just plain better" because you can bite right into it without peeling the skin like an orange?

I got both Hundy 500 and Slow Burn DVD's this weekend. I love them both and feel that they will both be great additions. I have a question for you Hundy 500 users. What denomination bills are you using? $100's obviously have the greatest impact both on the audience and on your wallet. I had thought about making it with $5's and $50's so I can still use the line, "Look for the zero's ...". I know you could use $1's and $10's but it seems like that would water down the effect. Those of you who have been performing Hundy, what are you using? Thanks for the input.

Slow Burn is a nice effect, and it CAN be angle-sensitive, but keep in mind that since you know the trick, you're more aware of what's happening than the audience. Most people won't even know what to look for.

I think ones and tens would be good. I have both of them also and well, I have NO MONEY so if I do get money I will use 1s and 10s by saying oh let me add a zero... but I think the best combo would be 1s and 100s... wait maybe there is a way to get them to 10s and then 100s??? whoa...

Visibill is teriffic in my opinion it is the best bill switch, Slow Burn looks good on video but in real world the gaffs is very thick and looks fake, this is my opinion I hope I do not make enemies...

I got my foreign currency bills to make up Slow Burn the other day. I also made up a Hundy 500 set. I got 2-peso Argentina notes and 50-peso Dominican Republic notes. The DR notes are much better, they are more colorful and are the correct size without trimming. The slow burn set I made with the DR 50-peso notes and $1 bills works great!
I made a set with $2 bills and 2-peso Argentina notes but they don't look quite as good, not enough contrast for the color change.

I made a Hundy 500 set from $2 bills and $20 bills with the thought of leading into it from Ammar's 2 $1's to a $2 (someone else mentioned this idea earlier). I haven't been getting such a great response from that set. It seems that each time I've performed it, everybody wants to look at the $2 bills and that distracts from the change to come. So I'm going to make a $1 and $10 set, I just can't tie up $606 in the original Hundy 500 idea. Both are great effects and both have their strengths. After some practice, I can perform either handling with either set. I highly recommend both Slow Burn and Hundy 500.

The angle problems with Slow Burn have been exaggerated somewhat. There are some awkward angles -- for example, having someone looking over your shoulder makes things a bit tricky. But I don't find it to be a particularly angly trick. However, Hundy 500 avoids what few angle problems Slow Burn has.

Both videos are excellent. If you have the resources, it's worth getting both. The gimmick is the same, but Sanders and Wilson each give tips that will help, whichever handling you use.

Hundy 500 has a slightly easier handling, and is angle-proof. Slow Burn has a more dramatic visual change, with minor angle problems.

Personally, I lean towards Hundy 500, but the difference in quality between the two effects is so slim that it's hard to say either has a clear advantage. Both are killer effects.

Hundy 500 works best w/ $100.00 bills. Nothing beats the impact.

However, I've heard about a magician who changes $5.00 bills to $50.00's who gets great reaction.... I like the idea, it's very logical going from 5's to 50's. also, your investment is half as much.

BTW... Gregory Wilson's video is supurb. He has 10 different real life shows you can study. In addition, he has lots of presentation tips and construction is greatly simplified.

Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

I am ignorant to Slow Burn and Hundy 500 (give me a break, there isn't a magic shop within hundreds of miles). But, I do have Visibill and think it is an excellent bill switch.

Plus, if someone is going to bash Vinny, I'll take his side. He knows what he is talking about Mr. Charlie C. I do hope that the post you made was a joke regarding Vinny. He is an awesome man and magician.
If it is a joke please accept my appology if not............. (you get the idea!)

Hundy 500 wins in my book...I own both Slow Burn and Hundy.

Greg Wilson just put so much more on the presentation and what not, it makes it seem like you've been perfecting the routine for years.

Having a special interest in money effects I've had Slow Burn, Hundy 500, Visibill, Ammar Bill Switch and Money Morph. As for the changing money routines my vote definitely goes to Hundy 500, the visual impact of Slow Burn is nice I just find the handling much better with Hundy 500. As for the Bill Switch Ammar's is really good but the best is definitely Money Morph.

JJP161,
How does Money Morph differ from other bbill switches like Visi-Bill or Ammar's or Kozlowski's switch?

Hi Jim,

I believe Money Morph is basically the Ammar or Kozlowski's switch but with some handling improvements that make it a little more visual. I'm still practicing this one myself but I think it looks the best and I like the handling the best but it doesn't really differ tremendously from Ammar's. As for Visi-Bill I just never liked it. I played around with it for a couple of months but it never really grew on me. Maybe it's just a personality thing but I find that Sanders style or routines thus far have not been for me so to speak. I felt the same with Slow Burn, in the end I just plan liked and felt more natural and comfortable with Hundy 500. I know many magicians love both Visi-Bill and Slow Burn, with me I just find that Hundy 500 and Money Morph fits me the best, they feel the most natural and magical to me.

I'm thinking of buying Hundy 500. Is it a gimmick or sleight of hand?

Slow Burn is incredibly visual, looks like real magic. Interesting that no one has mentioned Mark Allen's 3-D Cash in any of these posts. Similar to Slow Burn gimmick (perhaps they are all similar to Pat Page gimmick, I don't know), but it allows an additional change (for example, from ones to fives to fifties). I have both Slow Burn and 3-D Cash, but have not yet made up the gimmicks. I'm wondering if the 3-D cash gimmick might end up being fairly thick and thus harder to hide. Anyone out there doing this one?
