I've been asked to quote for an Indiana Jones themed party on June 6th for a seven year old. The house will already be decorated in the theme. Now try to extend the list of tricks below (supplemented by a few others).
silver sceptre - doesn't work out, like most of Indy's plans magic colouring picture of IJ - picture from the web-site Charlie's Invisible Message - five pics of IJ,find the predicted one magic map - based on a Rachel Columbini trick for Harry Potter (different force to above, do as a re-curring trick treasure chest - dove pan Any other suggestions?

You can have the seven year old be your "Data" from "The Goonies" to incorporate an assistance's help. Just an idea to involve the birthday kid. Have fun with it!

Maybe a special jungle coloring book? Or even a Indiana Jones version of hippity hop rabbits.

Although the child is now a teenage, for reference I would suggest the following:
Tip over trunk (small size of course), instead of a dove pan, for the treasure chest. A square circle to magical reveal the idol, and then make it disappear stating that the evil wizard stole. The mission is to recover and defeat the evil wizard. It's best to write a short script first and then determine which tricks could best fit. I think koh's idea is a great to have the birthday girl/boy as part of the adventure magic play. |

It looks like I'm a few years late to the party, but the first thing that came to my mind was a nest of treasure boxes.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.
