I didn't know that Chris Kenner had worked for David Copperfield for the past 18 years. It shows what I know!!
I liked the interview with him and pleased that he was so frank about the quality of magic. Magic needs someone that will publicly be frank and honest. Will we ever get a magic critic? There is another thread on the Café that explains that 90% of any art, including magic, is not good and makes interesting reading. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......rum=2&20 The ironic thing about the Chris' interview was that he repeatedly said that Chris Angel sounds like Elmer Fudd. Sorry Chris but your 'look' kind of reminds me of Elmer Fudd. It might just be me but stay away from your wabbit shootin' hat. Overall, I thought issue 11 was great. |

Just watched Issue #11. Great job Koz! Silly Billy did a nice job showing the different types of TT's and his alternative method of moving the TT with your pinkie is something I will certainly be trying out. I really enjoyed Jon Armstrong's "What If," especially the way he explained the psychology of the force used for the two cards selected.
"There's no limit to what one man can accomplish, as long as he's willing to let someone else have the credit." (These words were inscribed on a small brass plaque which sat on President Ronald Reagan's desk in the White House during his second term.)

I hadn't heard of Reel Magic until I "won" an unopened issue #11 at a local meeting. This thing is fantastic!!!
I did wonder about something though. In Jon Armstrong's column, he suggests that the particular instrument used to produce the special prediction card might be hard to locate in the States. I found it easily in Wal-mart, Target, and Staples. Was this an older video? I still loved the effect and have found still other uses for the aforementioned instrument. Great Magazine. (I had to buy the next one myself...)
...what if I could read your mind?
