Hi Don. This is VERY good. Basically, the gimmick allows you to borrow 2 beer bottle caps of different brands, make them change place in a spectators hands very much like a copper silver routine, and immediately give them back out to keep. There are a number of possibilities with the gimmick but that is my favorite. The gaffs can easily fit in your wallet and the handling is VERY clean and magical. This is highly recommended and a real worker. It is ideal for the bar magician, magician performing at bars/restaurants, performing at house parties, performing at cocktail parties, etc.

Viewed the demo video. The effect looks very nice & captivating.
I have a suggestion please. Besides the performer pushing his way between the two spectators (New York style ), an alternate presentation can be:-
1. The spectators are made to confirm & reconfirm the type of caps they are holding in their respective closed fists - palm side up.
2. The performer asks the two spectators to turn their closed fists (palm side down).
3. The performer now asks the two spectators to bang (not too hard ) their closed fists (knuckles) with each other. After two or three tries the performer says - 'OK, it's done'.
4. He (the performer) then asks the spectators to slowly remove the cap from by the side of the closed fist.
Waala! - A magical transformation has taken place. Real Magic!!!
Note: By making the spectators turn their fist (palm side down), the caps orientation changes - i.e. when the caps are removed from by the side of the fist, the cap is now right side up & the transformation can be seen clearly without the need to turn the cap right side up. Thus giving a bigger punch to the effect.
Just a suggestion & the way I think!

Ustaad,
Love your idea. I wasn't thrilled with the pick pocket idea. I was thinking about casting a shadow over one hand and having the spec follow the shadow as it travels to the other hand and vice versa for the switch. This would be similiar to the LVL routine as seen on TA.
I would love a review so I can make this my next purchase!

I like the effect also, but have a question. If you borrow two beer caps at a bar, then normally they will be slightly bend. At least in Europe where caps are not screwed of but opened with a beer opener. Is it a problem with the gimmick that the caps are bend in the middle?
Best regards

Beside the gimmicks, do they come with the regular caps? If not, in my country I will have problem to find matching caps for the gimmicks. Thanks.

At the ripe ole age of 68, I have to conclude that in all my years of magic, 50+, I have never mastered and probably will never master, a classic palm, when dealing with coins. Having said that, I was wondering if an allowable answer to this next question is allowed. Here goes anyway as I have nothing to lose by asking. Concerning the effect, "Captivated", is a classic palm a "must" in order to accomplish the effect. In a nutshell, I don't want to make the purchase and then learn that it relies heavily on a sleight that I am not proficient at.

Hi Lesue. I wouldn´t know the answer, but have you ever tried a classic palm with a bear cap? Its almost like it sticks to your palm due to the wavy edges that cuts into your flesh. Maybe actually you could do all the calssic coin tricks ´just with beer caps instead. I know chink-achink is easy peasy with bear caps. Try it out.

Thanks Jan and yes, I have tried classic palming with bottle caps and do agree that it is easier for the reasons you gave. Even with caps, my hands don't look natural enough while palming and I have always steered away from effects that use that palm. I should have added the same question in relation to the effect "Will Power" by Bernstein. If it can't be asked here, I'll travel to the proper post site.

It's not really that hard to figure out what the gimmick(s) are. You can even make your own pretty easily, but I'm pretty sure the effect will come with some cool and easy to use gimmicks, and secondly I always wants to buy the effect if I plan on using it. The questions are if the gimmicks can only be used on completely straight caps, or the caps can be slightly bend like they would be in Europe (if you have to borrow them in a bar). If the gimmick is what I think, then it could probably also be made in a way to be used with slightly bend caps.
And, that also means that it is a no sleight of hand, provided you can move your hand and thumb.
Best regards
