This is a huge collection of magic.
Any favourite effects? Top effects? http://www.lybrary.com/pabular-p-5607.html |

I bought it recently...and you're right, it is huge, so it's too early to have any favourites. But I'm enjoying it, it's my lunchtime browse-through reading at the moment

My favorite article is Fred Robinson's detailed write-up on the Faro shuffle: after years of being able to complete it only haphazardly, I can now do it perfectly (albeit still slowly) every time. This is a fantastic resource for the close-up magician. At almost 1400 pages, there is a wealth of information and effects here. I've had it for a year and don't think I have yet plumbed its depths. Here are just a few names I recognized as I leafed through the pages (and I edited this list down from double the number): Ross Bertram, Alex Elmsley, Andrew Galloway, Roberto Giobbi, Phil Goldstein, Larry Jennings, Simon Lovell, Juan Tamariz, Roy Walton. Here you'll find the original text of Tony Corinda's "The Powers of Darkness". Here are several Barrie Richardson effects with his extensive attention to detail. This has got to be one of the best bargains in magic.

There's a well hidden direct transposition of 2 cards by Larry Jennings in one of Obie's articles. Completely FASDIU.
Fred Kaps has an awesome long article on performing for laymen. Walt Lee's material are top notch, the way he does ATFUS in one of the routines is brilliant. |
