Sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine losing one of my girls.

I kinda liked PA. I thought what made it scary was the location and the general realness of it. I have a house very very similar to theirs, and thought there was some general creepy moments in it. B

As for Trick or Treat. That was a great ride. A+

Sebastian, not sure we ever chatted on here, but very sorry to hear about your daughter. The big C is nasty. Have lost lot of people and am due to start chemo myself in a few weeks though. Mine is VERY beatable. But enough about that.

I saw PA last night and loved it. Filmed just like Blair Witch but with a better results. Quite a few parts had me genuinely terrified. I highly recommend it.

I watched Trick R Treat last night and enjoyed it thoroughly. Grandson: "You sure like weird movies, Pop-pop!"

Just saw it. It was mildly entertaining but not scary int he least. A clever concept and some great low budget special effects gave it a spooky feel, but eventually it went nowhere. I'm happy to have gone and seen it, but I won't be watching it again.

I see he's struggling to get his next film picked up. Then I also saw Paranormal Activity 2 announced on IMDB. That will be a shoddy studio sequel for sure!

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is good, spooky fun.

Just don't go in expecting the "torture porn" that most modern horror movies have devolved into.

Its not that type of movie.

My only gripe is that the female lead looks a little too much like Amy Poehler.

I kept expecting her to start wise-cracking.

Too bad. Some of us like 'torture porn.'
