I love the routine, lots of good humor.
It builds nice, and gives good reason to be going back and forth to the bag and pockets.
Great work, I think this would play well on the street.

What a fun and memorable routine. Great build, wonderful story, lots of comedy and a satisfying conclusion. Twelve minutes for a single trick, but worth every second. Kudos -

Enjoyed it, thanks for posting.

Great storyline. I love the fact that you come back to the small bottle at the end. The symmetry is near perfect. I'm not sure how you would do it, but the only thing missing is somehow using the giant bottle with the finale. You got the cork in there, though. Great routine.

I know I've already commented on this but I've just watched it again and it really is unmitigated genius. I made my wife watch it and despite disliking magic and not knowing the premise of coin in bottle in advance she found it hilarious.

If someone had told me there was a 12 minute coin in bottle routine out there, I would have scoffed at the mere though of it - but this is a masterpiece. Beautiful work.

Sure, Send me $500.00 and I'll put a set together for you :)
It might take a while though as the Giant Glass Coke Bottles are difficult to come by. I also will have to scrounge around for another vintage plastic Coke Bottle on E-Bay (yes, it really is a actual plastic Coke bottle from the 70's). You might have to settle for a cheap imitation though as I haven't seen any on the auction sites for a while.
But even at $500.00 I won't be making all that much profit as I'm pretty sure I've got at least $300.00 in labour and material costs in this routine. There's a reason I named it the World's Most Expensive Coin in Bottle Routine :) The cost alone assures me a certain amount of exclusivity as few I think would be willing to spend the amount of money required to recreate the routine.

Magicmarie,
Seriously, what's your problem. You are so rude and disrespectful. I have just seen the thread you started in the 'ever so slightly' section. You started a topic to see if anyone agrees with your opinion on this magician! What you say about him in that thread is even ruder. Did you know that this Café is for magicians helping magicians? Do you have anything positive or constructive to say? Have you noticed that not one person agrees with you? even in the thread that you started. Seriously man. What's wrong with you.
Here's the link to the thread that this idiot started

I thought the card trick was great, by the way. Fantastic reveal!
I've love to catch you in person sometime, Payne (I'm originally from Bellevue!)

It's been taken down, Sean, thankfully, by the powers that be.
The one unfortunate thing is that the link to the youtube video referenced by Magicmarie was also deleted. I have reproduced the link here for your viewing pleasure:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbWzDFPZbYI
I found both videos to be inventive, intelligent, and most importantly, funny. I did not find the Da Vinci Card trick to be sacrilegious as Magicmarie claimed, at least no more so than the book or the movie.
In short, I have become a fan of Master Payne and look forward to seeing more from him.
Regards,
Alan
