I am very sad to report on the loss of yet another amazing performer, Tim Conover. According to those that have contacted me, Tim died at his own hand. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends: http://bit.ly/dHijZ2

Really sorry to hear that - I saw a brief performance clip of his some time ago and was really impressed. Tragic that he's gone.

New book "Phone Home: Confessions of a Telephone Reader" available from Lybrary.com. Neal Scryer, Richard Webster, Millard Longman and Jerome Finley love it - maybe you will too!

I've known Tim since he was a teenager, consider him a close friend and had the pleasure of booking him for my clients on several occasions. He was truly one of the very best -- both as a person and as a performer. The news of his death is not only personally shocking, but a tragic loss to our art.

This is a very sad news
He was also a very great fantastic coinman, and his versions of Ramsay's "Cylinder & Coins", are wonderful... doubtless some of the best.

Tim was one of a handful of performers that I truly admired, both as an artist and as a person. He was a brilliant creator of Mentalism, a wonderfully successful performer and a very decent man.

The world is a smaller, dimmer place without him.

Tim was a good fellow, an accomplished magician, and an excellent mentalist. He was always working on new ideas and had great enthusiasm for the craft. He was a wonderful colleague, a good friend, and his passing is a great loss to the mystery community.

So very sad. I watched the clip that was posted earlier. He showed such energy, talent and charisma. We are all a little poorer for his passing.

I did not know Mr. Conover but, judging by the video clip, he clearly earned his money by displaying a lot of energy and presenting mentalism in a fun and entertaining way.

This is clearly a great loss to the world of mentalism.
