Hello! I'm currently an IBM member, and am looking to join the SAM before the convention this summer in my lovely hometown of Pittsburgh! Just wondering if other Café members will be attending?

It is going to be a very fun, magic-packed week. JT, there are 2 Assemblies in the Pittsburgh area you can check out, too (in Beaver Valley and Oakland). Check them out - info at www.magicsam.com, or message me.
Also, to get the latest convention news, "like" the SAM Facebook page: "SAM Annual Conference"
And yes, I'd better be there.

I'll be there. This will be only my second SAM convention. The last one was quite a few years ago in Grand Rapids, MI. My wife and I went to that mostly because our friend the late Bob Parrish invited us.
Since then I have been to quite a few IBM conventions and several FISM conventions mostly with the late Jay Marshall. I just realized that I am writing "the late" quite a lot.
This year I am going to the SAM convention with Graham Putnam,CEO of Fun, Inc. I hope this will not have any effect on his health.
I was always told to be respectful toward older people. Unfortunately, I have reached an age at which I can't find many.
I'm looking forward to meeting any Café members. IF you happen to see me, please say hello or anything else that comes to mind.
