Pleased to continue finding that all the world's a stage.

I think you are talking about the aesthethic of steampunk... if you try to put the philosophy of steampunk in your magic you are going to have a hard time.

I have great respect for those who aim to follow a steampunk philosophy. And I always make it very clear that steampunk is just another cool way to dress up and have fun accessories, like renaissance and pirate.

Gomerel,I see you are hosting a swap meet on Feb 16, I have a show possibly that day. If the show is switched to the Sunday you can bet I will be at the swap. Dr. Solar is all about steam punk before any word of such. It is a movement to many of us, I hope not a dress up fad. The philosophy is to be off grid, pre-industrial revolution, human power, alternative energy, hand wrought tools and items, removing yourselves from the dependance of the store bought, buy into mentality of excepting what "others" offer us as real commodity, plastic.

Dr. Solar, I should not have said that steampunk was "just" another way of dressing up. I certainly respect the ideals you mention.

I'm going to produce a very limited run of the duck. Probably no more than 10. I'm afraid they are going to be pretty pricy. Around $500.00 as there is a lot of fiddley hand work involved in their conversion. I'm probably going to document the process on my Facebook page. So the DIY magis out there can follow along.
