John will be celebrating his 100th birthday at the 74th Abbott Magic Get Together (Aug 3-6, 2011), as this approaches we thought it would be interesting to see some of the articles in Tops magazine that John Calvert was a part of.

One of my fondest memories in life is the weekend that John and Tammy stayed in my home for several nights whilst his RV was being worked on and also when he performed in my place at a local resort just 60 miles east of El Paso.
He is a true gentleman and a living legend in our times! A toast to one of the finest men in our craft!
