I just released two new versions of my mask creations:

Big Mouth Mask 2011

Goofy Mask 2011

Control is now push action. No more springs inside the mask. Nothing to rust or corrode. I only have 5 of each in stock. Will fit a child or adult.

Optional missing teeth and/or freckles available.

Very nice, Lou!

Lou's masks are durable and well-made. The mask I have was made by Lou in 2000 or 2001 (ten+ years ago!) and it's still in top form. And the thing is, Lou was still experimenting that time with materials and designs, so I'm sure these new creations are even better and more durable!

If I were still doing the vent mask act in my shows now, I'll definitely get one!

Thanks guys! It did take a lot of R&D to develop this new mask. It is made in such a way that it can fit both child and adult. And the mouth opens wide. And best of all, no more springs to corrode inside the mask.

It even fits my 4 year old son.

Next, I am working on an upper lip movement, double control.

Lou;

So, when are you going to make it a hands free mask and hook the volunteer up to a computer LOL

I'm working on a remote controlled version. I'm still in search for the ideal servo to make it. The control will be concealed at the back of the volunteer or camouflaged inside a giant bowtie or dress shirt.

Nice work Lou,

This is the first one I have seen that almost looks like an extension of the face rather than just a mask.

Thanks Steve! I made this due to the various debates on the Axtell Mic Mouth versus the Puppet Mask issue. Now, this mask barely touches the mouth and is super comfy for the volunteer. It is small, portable and lightweight. What more can you ask for? Optional missing teeth could be funnier.
Great for the travelling ventriloquist. No need to bring your puppet. Fits male and female adults and kids, too.

Love the mask with the upper lip movement. How much?
I prefer the masks that go ver the nose, I just think it looks better.

Less than 10 seconds in my experience. It velcro straps on top of the head and another at the back of the head. The top strap is already fixed so all you have to strap is the back part.

The Upper Lip Mask comes only with the Goofy Mask version. The upper lip is controlled by the first finger while the rest of the fingers control the lower mouth. I have 2 in stock right now for right handed control.

Notice how big the mouth opens compared to all other versions. Great visibility on stage.
It really depends on how you use the masks. It is a matter of choice.

I received the mask that Lou had and I must say that the quality is very good. It's lightweight and the added upper lip sneer added a lot more to the mask.I am glad I managed to get the last one he had in stock.
