Hi all,
I've been playing a lot with my PK ring (wizards brand) for the past year or so, but as I become more image conscious lately, it seems to me that the thickness of the band does not suit my overall dress style (modest, rather slim i.e. not so well build in figure, more of a college guy than a hipster). I want to look for the slimmest band design of PK ring in the market. Do any of you guys know where to find slimmer bands? what do you guys think are my options out there? I know a slimmer band might mean less magnetic power, so far I'm just curious as to whether I have a choice and keep experimenting. Thanks all, Mic |

Here is a “Wizard PK Ring” that is designed for magicians with card images which really help hide the band width.

A magnet implanted inside your finger is a real option if you can find a piercing or body-mod parlor near you who does it (or if you're incredibly brave you can do it yourself at home). In addition to the PK effects, your nerves integrate with the magnet and you can sense other permanent magnetic fields, and any EMF that are nearby. I can tell you if my neighbor turns on their microwave, and I can make a delicate compass spin from almost a foot away. No real danger besides basic rejection, like any piercing. There is a healing and recovery period though, which will keep you from finger-flinging for a month or so depending on the size of the magnet.

Not a joke:
Here for size comparison is a disk magnet very close to the size and shape of mine. Much larger than the standard implant, I had to ask for it specifically: (Note that's not the same finger. If I got that close with my magnetized finger, the other magnet would have jumped up to cling to it.)
