I just stumbled across this thread.
Sorry for the short response, I'm beat atm. In short, it's worth the money. Even if you never plan on performing The Whispering Buddha, (I won't) you get a very cool one in a black velvet pouch. Personally, I've gotten a few of Docc's releases, and never used any of them directly. Ironically though, I don't care. I like how he approaches mentalism, and his stuff is at minimum..fun. I'll try and dig it out, refresh my noggin, and get back with a proper reply. 252Beat

First things first I believe the original price of the set was $150. The whispering Buddha alone was $50 so if the $37 price is correct? it's a great value. Docc sells it here http://www.ientertainer.net/store/docc-h......op-shelf for $99 so I don't know how penguin is selling it at the above price?
The whispering Buddha; While many mentalist will think the method out of reach, fact is it's goes way back to Corinda and Punk. Most mentalists have never and will never perform the effect, because of lack of confidence in their ability to do the necessary work involved to pull it off. However Docc makes the work simple to understand and practice. The Rosini Secret; In the version of a standard of mentalism a deck of cards is used to cover the secret work involved. You will have to gimmick a card and card box but once done will last for years. The advantage of this method is there is nothing to see. Top Shelf Special report; A complete marketing strategy with several way of selling the act. All in all a goo value and if you use it? And that's a big if? The price again is well worth it.
A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a foolish man can learn from a wise answer.
Attributing negativity to a topic or post doesn't make the topic or post negative, it shines a light on the negativity of the person or persons, making the attributions. BEWARE these Debbie downers and anything they say. They simply lack the self esteem or good will, to be positive or productive. Your belief in self, is more important and is all that matters, for your success to be glorious. |

I'm considering getting this specifically for the Top Shelf report. I already have the three other items, but if this is really a new a useful idea for selling, I would consider it worth the money. Just wondering if anyone has actually tried the marketing system and if it lives up to the hype.

I am interested in learning if anyone has put the concepts taught in the Top Shelf Report to use and what their results were.

Some time ago a guy was selling used books and I purchased the “Whispering Thing” for $10. He also had the “Top Shelf Report” and I asked him if he can include it for the same amount of money. So I got the booklet and the report without the props 😀
Both things are very interesting. For experienced people like you the marketing technique is probably something you are familiar, partially familiar, or is something you won’t find particularly revolutionary, I believe.
