I didn't add anything, just raised the price. "Magic stores get $20, but at the show, we cut the price in half, 10 bucks..but hold your money...." I frankly just got tired of making change for $8. And the very next time I demo'd, I sold 3 sets. Sure was nice not making change.
And it seems to be just as easy to get $10 as $8. Who'da thunk it?

Sounds good to me. I'm going to do the same.
OK, I have a question for you guys...
What would you price a package of a worm, sven. deck, and 2CM as a kicker?
I'm just curious...
I was going to do $10 for the lot, but looks like I was being to cheap.
What do you guys think?

If someone would have told me year ago I'd be selling the deck and TCM for $10, I'da thot they were nuts.
At that time was selling them for $5. But I saw David Walker at a show and he was doing $7. I went him one better because MM raised their price from 70 cents to $1 per deck. But then I continued to use Loftus, so even tho I still paid 69 cents, I was at $8. Now, I've bought several doz decks for 50 cents from guys going out of the biz.
I still raised my price to $10 because I'm just too lazy to make change. And I think $10 doesn't sound any worse than $8.

I agree that $10 seems to be OK, but I think that's about the limit for an impulse item like the deck, at least in my neck of the woods.
Not only that, but it's a good magic trick and it's WORTH the $10, especially if it's a Loftus deck, which is pretty good quality. SETH

Its a Psycological thing-
Years of Markets & Tradeshows on regular days & Holidays-People don't want to go over $20
as its easier to take the note and hand it over-$10 is even easier, you'll sell more at this price..Dad will hand over for the kids also!!
$12 they have to muck around and find a coin here, cant be bothered-move on..no sale
$8 as you mention-you have to muck around to get change....
I now work mainly Big Tradeshows Professionally pitching and $10 is the lowest but most popular price-
Below link is a few shots of recent live casino card cheat demos-even used a Svengali in 1-blew them away....
