The KaZoo Chapter of The Fellowship of Christian Magicians will be meeting for the FIRST TIME on Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 10AM-12:30PM at Lighthouse Community Church, 4321 S. 11th Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49009 www.DiscoverLighthouseChurch.com This new Chapter will meet six times a year on the second Saturday of each ODD numbered month (January, March, May, July, September and November) at 10AM at Lighthouse Community Church. No dues- and all welcome! The first meeting will be attended by magicians and FCMers from all over SouthWest Michigan including Sheldon Rhodes, Alan Kazam, Rick Howell and whoever else we can get to show up! MagicBob Zoerman at this first meeting ever will be presenting his entire brand new 90 minute Gospel magic lecture which includes lecture notes and props- this is the same lecture he is presenting January 29 in Combatore, Tamil Nadu, India (over 120 magicians already registered for that). Hey Rick- if you have some new or used Gospel magic for sale (or any other magic for that matter)- free free to bring it to display, demonstrate and sell! No comission or table fees either- we would be thrilled to see you there! I have gotten some great positive responses so far, so I am quite certain some magicians will be showing up for this first FCM Chapter meeting in Kalamazoo history! Roger

Yep, even though we had a big snow storm here tonight, we still will be meeting this Saturday morning at 10AM at Lighthouse Community Church in Kalamazoo. MagicBob and SuZie will be lecturing on both Gospel magic and chalk art, Tim Marsh is bringing 4 tables of used magic for sale including an Abbott's Cutting A Girl Into Sixths Illusion, plus a complete "history" of the former Kalamazoo FCM Chapter will be presented by Dave Stoepker. A photo of those attending this first KaZoo meeting will be published in the next "The Voice of the FCM" magazine. See you Saturday!

Upcoming events for the KaZoo Chapter of the FCM (in addition to your ideas to share, items to sell or swap, routines to show, or snacky snacks):
March 10: Tim Marsh lecture on Gospel and comedy magic. Plus India tour report by MagicBob and SuZie.
May 12: Sheldon Rhodes Gospel magic lecture.
July 14: Roger Magic Bus presentation of his 45 minute "Packs Small Plays Big" Gospel magic program.

Sheldon Rhodes will be presenting completely free his brand new lecture May 12 at Lighthouse Community Church in Kalamazoo at 10AM, and on July 14 the "Incredible Predictions!" 45 minute Gospel Magic program will be presented by Roger Magic Bus. Sheldon is an experienced pro in Gospel magic, puppets and juggling. Sheldon emailed me as said "I can't wait to hear what I have to say!"
